Background

Acrow Formwork & Scaffolding’s operates in the building and construction sector for residential, commercial, civil and industrial projects Australia-wide. Across heritage dates back to 1936 when the brand was first launched in the United Kingdom. Have you heard of the Acrow Prop? The founder invented it! It’s an adjustable prop that is preferred by builders and the term Acrow Prop is utilised throughout the industry.

In 2010, the organisation re-branded as Acrow Formwork and Scaffolding (previously, Boral Formwork and Scaffolding).

Acrow is one of the largest formwork and scaffolding companies in Australia. PSD Brand Design was engaged by the Marketing team to craft the new brand look and feel and implement the style throughout all online marketing and offline print, signage and vehicle graphics.

The brand was crafted for brand recognition to reinforce the changing in company ownership while supporting an increased vision for product, expertise and customer service.

Approach

In collaboration with Acrows’ Marketing team PSD were able to craft the new brand logo and visual identity. Our findings through initial discovery sessions placed the Arrow brand as industry experts and innovators.

Utilising the defined visual identity systems we developed the Acrow website including a full range of Acrow products and specification document. Further we create a complete identity package incorporating folders, newsletters, catalogues, profile brochures, capability statement, product brochures and employee handbooks plus more.

PSD also created a visual system for implementing the Acrow brand across each of their corporate offices and vehicles Australia wide.

The outcome was the delivery of an array of marketing materials for the Acrow brand that provided the tools and systems to allow the sales and service team to delivery clear and relevant information to their customers.
